New Delhi: The Supreme Court On Monday Dismissed a petition Which was filed by 11 students from differents States Of India.The Petition was Filed for seeking the postponement of Joint Entrance Examinations(JEE) and National EligibilIty Cum Entrance Test (NEET),Which was scheduled to be held in September 2020. Supreme Court Finished the Hearing the two PILs(Public Interest Litigations) Which have been filed for JEE Main and NEET 2020. The Supreme Court Orders to not Postponed JEE and NEET any further.
The Supreme Court hearing had two pleas of different views regarding the Entrance Exams. One Petition Was to Postpone the Exams Further,the other was requesting for no more delay in Entrance Examinations.Both Parties Decision were Heard By Apex Court regarding postponement of JEE and NEET and Decision Of no further postponement of Entrance Examinations Was taken.
Justice Arun Mishra headed the apex court bench and Advocate Alakh Alok Srivastava was representing the students and parents who filed the petition About JEE and NEET Postponement.The SC Bench also said that Entrance Examinations will be held with preacautions. Following the dismissal of Petition by Supreme Court, both Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations will go as per schedule announced by NTA earlier. According to Notice released by NTA On July 3,NEET Examinations Will be conducted on September 13 and JEE Examinations will Commence from September 1 to 6,2020.

As per Schedule Released by National Testing Agency,the Hall Tickets or exams admit cards for JEE Main 2020 and NEET 2020 are Expected to release Soon. The Notification released earlier said that Hall Tickets Would be made available For Students 15 days-Prior to Examinations. Therefore,aspirants have been waiting for release of Hall Tickets . NTA To Take All Precautions , Says SG Tushar Mehta
During the hearing,Solicitor General Tushar Mehta that the apex testing agency NTA has been issued special instructions by the MHRD as well as Health Ministry to take all the necessary steps for smooth conduct of examinations in this pandemic. He also added that NTA will implement all the required safeguards to ensure smooth conduct of Exams and ensure Health and well-being of Aspirants appearing For Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations.
“Career Of Students cannot be put under risk”- say Judges
During the hearing of plea demanding of postponement Of JEE main 2020 and NEET 2020 exams, Judge Arun Mishra gave remarks that “Life cannot be stopped, We have to move ahead with all safeguards and Career Of Students Cannot Be Put Under Risk”. He also asked if students are ready to waste an entire year because of pandemic. Further, he also noted that going forwards, courts are also planning to reopen physical heaaring with all necessary Precautions.
