Decision To Conduct Final Year Exams To Protect Students Future: Education Minister – On Monday the Union Minister Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank the decision which is taken up by the UGC to conduct final year exams to protect students future and also if Final Exams are done so that students will not face any difficulty in future.

All the teaching universities have been given the options of conducting final year exams whether online, offline and also in blending mode. This decision would be taken up with the interaction of Vice-Chancellors of different universities. 

Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal said that the New Education Policy 2020 is the foundation of the nation-building. And this will strengthen India’s position at the global stage. We have always been in favor of giving the autonomy to all the universities in India. Currently, only 8000 around colleges have the autonomy.

Well, on 6 July UGC issued an exam-related guideline in which it is told to every university to complete the final semester examination by September end whether online, offline or blending mode.

And many petition also filed in the supreme court of India for the cancellation of Final Year exams in universities. They are challenging the guidelines issued by UGC related to exams.

Ramesh Pokhriyal also added that they working on giving autonomy to the universities and soon it will increase.
